Why does the IBAN start with FI?
It is the country prefix of the IBAN. Within SEPA, an IBAN from any member country is accepted for euro transfers in every other member country.
Can my employer or my clients pay to this IBAN?
Yes. It is an ordinary SEPA IBAN, usable for salaries, invoices and transfers.
Can I send euro outside the SEPA area?
Not from this account. For international transfers outside SEPA, use the US dollar account with SWIFT.
